世界の中心で愛を叫ぶ
今から18年前の夏、「世界の中心で愛を叫ぶ」という映画が流行っていました。僕は2回、映画館へその映画を観に行きました。長澤まさみのデビュー作で、かなり重く、ヘビーな、でも感動する映画でした。
僕は1回目に観に行ったとき、白血病の長澤まさみが治療しているとき、髪の毛がごそっと抜け落ちるシーンがあるのですが、そのシーンがあまりにも衝撃的で、怖くなってしまい、そのシーンを観たところで映画館を退席してしまいました。刺激が強すぎて僕はびっくりしてしまいました。 日を改めて、2回目はちゃんと最後まで観ました。
恋愛の映画だったのですが、命の大切さについて考えさせられる映画でもありました。
時間があったら「世界の中心で愛を叫ぶ」のDVDをレンタルしてこようかと思っています。今日部屋の整理をしていたら、偶然当時のCD-Rが出てきて聴いてみると平井堅の「瞳を閉じて」が流れたので、セカチュウをもう一度観たくなったからです。
この映画の中で、1980年代の歌がたくさん出てくるのですが、僕が高校時代に聴いていたい曲ばかりだったのを覚えています。映画の世代設定が、僕とちょうどかぶっていました。
映画の中に出てくるラジカセは僕が高校時代に持っていたラジカセとほぼ同じラジカセでした。
僕は映画はあまり観ないのですが、映画は面白いし、人生勉強にもなると思います。よく本に「本を読みましょう」と同じくらいに「映画を観ましょう」と書いてあります。僕は洋画は基本的には観ないのですが（字幕を読むのに必死になってしまい、内容が頭の中に全然入ってこないからです。吹き替え版でたまに観るくらいです）邦画の方が好きです。
ただ、僕は人よりも読解力というか内容を理解する能力が欠けているため、なかなか１度では映画の内容を理解できません。「今 会いに行きます」という竹内結子と中村獅童が主人公だった映画も2回観るまで内容が理解できませんでした。
そのため映画館で観るよりもDVDで何回も繰り返して観る方が僕にはあっています。
最近、全く映画を観ていません。イオンかファボーレに行って映画を観に行きたくなってきました。9月に入ったら映画館に行くかもしれません。
